McConnell 60th anniversary
Betty and Donald McConnell
Donald and Betty McConnell of Slippery Rock celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner Sept. 11.
McConnell married the former Betty Turk on Sept. 11, 1959, at Wesley Methodist Church in New Castle.
They have three children: Robert McConnell of Slippery Rock, Shelly McConnell-Weber of Dover, Del., and Jeffery McConnell of Butler.
They also have two granddaughters and a great-grandson.McConnell is retired.
