Sandy and Jim Mickey

Jim and Sandy Mickey of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a party earlier this summer given by their daughters.

Mickey married the former Sandy Pfeifer on Sept. 6, 1969, at Nixon United Methodist Church.

They have two children, Stacey (David) George of Butler and Shannon (Greg) Czzowitz of Fairfax, Va.

They also have four grandchildren.

Mickey retired from AK Steel.

Mrs. Mickey retired from the South Butler County School District.

The Mickeys enjoy camping and spending winters in Florida.

The Mickeys attend Nixon United Methodist Church.
