Carolyn and Larry Paulsen

Larry and Carolyn Paulsen of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Post 683, 754 N. Pike Road, Cabot. Please do not bring gifts.

Paulsen married the former Carolyn Wise on Sept, 4, 1959, at Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Sarver.

They have four children, Douglas Paulsen of Butler, Beth Hildebrand of Cabot and the late Danny Paulsen and the late Scott Paulsen.

They also have three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Paulsen retired from Peoples Gas after 36 and a half years of service.Mrs. Paulsen retired as the Penn Township tax collector after 21 years of service.The Paulsens are members of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church.
