Geibel 50th anniversary
Charles and SherylAnn Geibel Jr. of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with an Aug. 16 celebration planned by their five grown children at the Atrium in Prospect.
With more than 200 friends and family in attendance, they renewed their vows to each other with Pastor John Spenser of Victory Family Church officiating.
Geibel married the former SherylAnn Hartle on Aug. 23, 1969, at St. John Roman Catholic Church.
They have five children, Michaele Geibel of Butler, Jay Geibel of Freedom, Sandra Gaiser of Chicora, Stacey Henstra of Mountain Way, Wyoming, and John Geibel of Chicora.
They also have 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Geibel retired from Pullman Standard, Tri County in Grove City and Donegal Township. He currently farms the Geibel farm with his youngest son, John.Mrs. Geibel is currently Donegal Township and Karns City Area School District real estate tax collector.She has been a minister to women for many years and was president and founder of Alive Ministries Inc.The Geibels have been members of Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township since its beginning 26 years ago.The Geibels credit their marriage success to their faith in Jesus Christ.
