Marion E. and Patrick J. Cannon

Patrick J. and Marion E. Cannon of Butler will celebrate 54 years of marriage with family dinner Wednesday at the Olive Garden in Cranberry Township.

Cannon married the former Marion Patterson Sept. 4, 1965, at the U.S. Air Force Roman Catholic Church in Biloxi, Miss.

They have three children, Michael Cannon of Butler, Patrick Cannon Jr. of Arden, N.C., and Jennifer Cannon of Butler Township.

They also have six grandchildren.

Cannon is a Butler County detective.

He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Mrs. Cannon is an office manager at Kelly Chevrolet.

The Cannons are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
