The Cranberry Artists Network has awarded prizes for entries in the Martinis with Monet Art Expo.

The award winners are:

- Lorrie Anne Minicozzi, first place, for her graphite drawing, “I am Small and I Count.”

- Alan Byrne, second place, for his “Ketchup Row” oil painting.

- Cynthia Gilberti, third place, for her pastel painting “Sea Grass — St. Michaels.”

- The Irene Ackerman watercolor award went to Leslie Baldwin for “Retro Mixology Setup.”

- Honorable mentions went to Marian Salade for “Chappaquidik,” Larry Brandstetter for “One Olive or Two Claude,” and William Karaffa for “The King.”

Awards were announced during the July 10 gala opening of the exhibit, which was a fundraiser for the Cranberry Township Community Chest, at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

This year’s event was juried by Kimberly Koller-Jones, executive director/CEO at the Hoyt Center for the Arts in New Castle. She has more than 30 years of experience in gallery management and curation as well as multiple degrees in Art History and Arts Administration.

This year’s festive opening featured an interactive experience where attendees painted a 4-inch square to be added to a large mural style painting. The finished work will be on display in the Cranberry Township Public Library.

The art expo continues through Aug. 19.
