Matthew Hone of Prospect was one of seven Youngstown State University students who placed third out of more than 40 teams at the 2019 National Student Steel Bridge Competition earlier this spring.

Hone helped YSU qualify for nationals by being part of the winning team at the Ohio Valley regional contest in April.

Erin Neff of Valencia was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, at Baldwin Wallace University in the spring 2019 semester.

Neff, a graduate of Mars Area High School majoring in neuroscience psychology and psychology, shared the honor with 27 other students.

Nash Peters of Gibsonia was recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, a national leadership and honors organization at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
