Robert McCarl

Robert L. McCarl of Boyers will celebrate his 100th birthday with an ice cream and cake open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, West Sunbury. No gifts, please.

He was born July 3, 1919, in Grove City.

He married Yolanda DeMattis Oct. 25, 2007.

He has four children, Elsie (Robert) Seanor of New Cumberland, Sylvia (Craig) Snyder of Boyers, Diane (Jim) Carlantonio of Boyers and Ron McCarl of Boyers.

He also has six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He is the owner of McCarl’s Tavern in Hilliards.

He is a member of the Boyers Sportsman’s Association and St. Alphonsus Parish.
