Butler Public Library will host representatives of the Erie Zoo at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday as part of the library’s summer program.

Children in the Supernova Readers — kindergarten through third grade — will meet some animals during the program at 218 N. McKean St.

According to Tiffany Harkleroad, children’s librarian, 330 children are participating so far in the “Universe of Stories” summer reading program.

On Thursday night, the tweens groups — grades four to six — are meeting for the “Alien Overlords” program and will create “space (bath) bombs.”
