MARS — Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Old Union Road, will have its annual Strawberry Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

JEFFERSON TWP — The kickoff concert of the summer patio concert series at Haven II, featuring the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra, is at 6 p.m. Sunday.The second in the series brings back the popular Mary Gibbons Band at 7 p.m. July 30.The East Winds Symphonic Band performs at 7 p.m. Aug. 27.All concerts are located on the Haven II Backyard Patio located at 148 Marwood Road (Entrance 5) and open to the public.Registration is preferred, but not required. Family Pathways has assumed responsibility for the YWCA Montessori Preschool that operated at Monarch Place on Brugh Avenue for the past decade.During the reorganization efforts under way at the YWCA, the decision was made that it was critical the organization focus on its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.Family Pathways’ mission focuses on strengthening families and when there was a an opportunity to assist with ongoing operations of the preschool the staff and board of Family Pathways adopted the preschool.
