House catches fire in Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP — No injuries were reported at a fire at a house in the township Saturday night.
The fire was reported at 215 Cameron Drive at 8:40 p.m. after smoke was seen coming from the attic of the house, which was said to be vacant, according to a Butler County Emergency Services 911 dispatcher.
The township fire department and the SAFER group, which includes the township, Adams Area, Evans City, Harmony and Callery volunteer fire departments responded along with the Big Knob Volunteer Fire Department from Beaver County and the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department from Allegheny County.
Firefighters got the blaze under control shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday and cleared the scene at about 11 p.m., according to the 911 center.
