Man arrested for alleged DUI
BUTLER TWP — Police arrested Samuel Heinz, 41, of Penn Hills Wednesday morning for allegedly driving under the influence after finding him unconscious in his car and reviving him with Narcan.
Township police reported Friday that Heinz was found unconscious in his vehicle in the parking lot of Sheetz on Route 8 south of Butler. Heinz's vehicle was in gear and had hit a curb, according to a police report.
Heinz was overdosing, police said, but woke up after being administered naloxone, a drug commonly referred to by the brand name Narcan.
Charges for Heinz are pending a toxicology report.
