MARS — Mars Exploration Celebration Days is May 31 to June 2.

The festival is a collaboration between the borough and NASA, and is inspired by exploration, innovation, and celebration.

Students from across the region in grades 2 through 8 are invited to participate in a judged competition called “Meet the MARS Challenge.” Cash prizes will be awarded. For information, go to www.marsnewyear.com.

PENN TWP — Nixon Preschool’s 7th annual 5K “FUNdraiser” is 9 a.m. June 1.

The event begins and ends at Nixon U.M Church, 334 Airport Road, and is an untimed, family friendly event for all abilities of walkers and runners. Children 9 and under may participate in a Tot Trot. A basket raffle is also included.
