Marshall 50th anniversary
Richard and Cindy Marshall of West Sunbury recently celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Tara Mansion restaurant near Hermitage, followed by a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend the opening ceremony of the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Marshall married the former Cindy Grossman on March 8, 1969, at St. John's Methodist Church in Halston.
They have three children, Richard Marshall Jr. of Grove City, Allison (Michael) Mortimer of Grove City and Erin (Raymond) Denny of Fenelton.
They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.Marshall retired from Witco Chemical Corporation and is a semi-retired minister.Mrs. Marshall is a retired beautician.The Marshalls both volunteered for the Moniteau area Meals on Wheels and convalescent home ministry.Both are active members of the Branchton Methodist Church.
