David and Bernadette Czzowitz

David and Bernadette Czzowitz of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage March 2 with a family dinner at the Iron Bridge Inn in Mercer and a cruise to the Bahamas.

Czzowitz married the former Bernadette Bergbigler on Feb. 17, 1969, at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Tina (George) Zacherl of Cabot and Diane (Mick) Grenek of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren.

Czzowitz is a retired IPC Security manager.

Mrs. Czzowitz retired from ServiStar.
