Dick and Violet Dunmyre

Dick and Violet Dunmyre of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a March 16 family dinner at Anna Marie's Winery and Cafe in East Butler.

Dunmyre married the former Violet Harris on March 15, 1969, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have two children, Allison (Eric) Broz of Youngstown, Ohio, and Andrea Dunmyre of Butler.

Dunmyre is a self-employed CPA.He enjoys reading and fishing.Mrs. Dunmyre is a retired bank manager and the owner of Violet Dunmyre Custom Quilting.She enjoys quilting, reading and playing cards.The Dunmyres are members of Trinity Lutheran Church.

The Dunmyres in 1969
