JACKSON TWP — Seneca Valley will host free evening presentations over the next few months focusing on a varied number of subjects affecting schools.

The next presentation, “Designing Safe and Secure Schools,” will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Seneca Valley Senior High School Auditorium, 128 Seneca Valley Road.

These programs are not recommended for children. However, child care will be provided for SV parents and residents who wish to attend.

PROSPECT — The Hestia Award recognizes a Butler County volunteer who exemplifies the fire of commitment through volunteerism.

The winner will be announced at the March 30 Taste of Change, a wine- and craft beer-tasting event.

The event runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Atrium, 1031 New Castle Road, and features a reception, appetizers, three-course dinner and a sampling passport for wine and craft beer.
