The New Beginnings Free Methodist Church, 416 Center Ave., will have a free clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon March 9 in the basement.

[naviga:h3]“Beast” cast slates breakfast[/naviga:h3]

ADAMS TWP — Mars High School will have a “Be Our Guest” Royal Breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. March 9 at Glade Run Church in Valencia.

Participants will have an opportunity to meet and take photos with the cast of the school’s upcoming production of “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” which takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. March 15 and 16, and at 1 p.m. March 17.

The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage and refreshments. A limited number of tickets are available.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Mars Planet Foundation.

ADAMS TWP — Mars Centennial School will hold its science fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The goal of the event, open to Mars students in fifth and sixth grades, is to stimulate imagination and independent thinking; increase students’ knowledge in a variety of scientific areas; teach the use of the scientific process; train students in organization and major task completion; and provide an opportunity to enjoy science.
