'Oklahoma' sweeps onto stage in March at Knoch

SAXONBURG — Knoch High School will present Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical “Oklahoma! ” at 7:30 p.m. March 1, 7:30 p.m. March 2 and 2 p.m. March 3 in the high school auditorium, 345 Knoch Road.

The producer/director is Jennifer Bonder.

Diane Beckstead is the vocal director, and Emily Cramer is the choreographer.

Ricardo Hayden Jr. is the orchestra director, Jeannette Adams is the technical director and scenic set artist and Nance Conlon is the costume designer and constructor.

Scott Emmel is the sound and lighting supervisor. Caitlyn Sutej is the stage manager.

Isabella Froedtert and Luke Wood are the student directors.

The plot takes the audience to a beautiful mornin' in the Oklahoma territory in 1906, when Oklahoma was about to become a state.

Laurey Williams finds herself drawn to Curly McClain, and Ado Annie Carnes can't seem to choose between the affections of Will Parker and Ali Hakim.
