An accident involving three cars on Monday afternoon briefly caused a traffic slowdown near the intersection of North Duffy and Newcastle roads.

Nobody was injured, according to Butler Township Volunteer Fire District Chief Dave Bestwick.

“We cleaned up the debris and left the area,” Bestwick said.

The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m., according to emergency radio transmissions and within an hour Bestwick said the crash site was cleared.
