The Zelienople Public Library has announced the winners of the 2018 Decorated Pumpkin Contest held during the Fall Festival in Zelienople and Harmony.

Adult winners were Ty Laughlin for his ostrich design, Jen Markowitz for the Wild Thing and Vanessa Fatur for her scarecrow.

Children’s winners were Paige Volz for the doughnuts, Mason Laughlin for his elephant and Owen Tressler for Cookie Monster.

Judges were Jason Shorr of Curio and Robin Abel of Penn Pantry.

People’s Choice winners were Sarah McCraley for her Day of the Dead pumpkin and Rose Turici for Cinderella’s Carriage.

Children’s Choice winners were Leo Markowitz for Kermit and Haileigh Wilson for her unicorn.

Children’s winners were awarded gift certificates to Room to Grow Toy Store. Adults were awarded gift cards. After judging, the pumpkins were used to decorate Main Street store windows for the festival.
