Butler police are investigating two reported vehicle thefts Monday.

There are no suspects.

Between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, a black, 2014 Jeep Cherokee was taken from the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Morton Avenue, police said.

The owner admitted the key was in the ignition and she left the vehicle unlocked. The Jeep's Pennsylvania license number is KTV-4465.

The vehicle also had a front license plate with a picture of three monkeys on it.

A black or dark-colored, 2014 Ford Fusion was stolen from Quality Life Services in the 600 block of North Main Street, police said. But they don't know when it was taken.

The car, leased by the business, was parked in the back lot. It was apparently last seen Sept. 3 but wasn't reported stolen until Monday.

The delay was because the owner had reportedly been out of the country, police said, and employees thought he may have driven the car to the airport.

The keys were also discovered missing but it was unclear if they had been left in the vehicle when it was taken.

Because the car was due to be returned to the lease company, police said, it did not have a license plate and the business logos had been removed.

Anyone with information about these thefts is urged to call 911 and ask for Butler police.
