Alice M. Watts

Alice M. Watts, 93, of Butler, formerly of West Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday at the Lowrie House, Stirling Village in Meridian.

She was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Hays, Allegheny County, and was the daughter of the late Walter Arley and Ruth (Bateman) Smith.

Alice was a prayer warrior as a member of North Main Street Church of God. She had read the Bible more than 50 times from cover to cover.

Alice was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her four daughters, Charlotte Geraghty of Los Angeles, Calif., Suzanne Kenney of Belleview, Fla., Rhonda Grant-Jewart of Butler, and Karen (Eric) Milasincic of Galveston, Texas; one son, Howard C. Watts of Cortland, N.Y.; 7 grandchildren, Brendan Geraghty, Adam Milasincic, Rachel Houston, Melissa Fields, Nick Grant, Haley Jewart and Mary Kenney; and three great-grandchildren, Mya, Avery and Aubrey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Watts, whom she married April 18, 1945, and who passed away May 19, 1999; her daughter, Carol Vasquez; and one sister.

WATTS — Friends of Alice M. Watts, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Saturday at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., Butler. Her pastors, the Rev. Brandon Lenhart and the Rev.
