No one was injured when a sport utility vehicle and tractor-trailer collided Sunday afternoon on Route 8 in Penn Township.

Police said the crash happened at 3:36 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 8 near Dinnerbell Road when Marcy Canel, 47, of Saxonburg, who was driving the SUV, turned from the left lane to the right lane in front of the rig that was hauling a load of sand. David Tucker, 65, of Hopedale, Ohio, was the other driver.

The SUV ended in a ditch and had to be towed. Police said Canel faces a ticket for improperly changing lanes.
