Police say neighbor pulls gun on golfer
A neighbor of the Bonniebrook Golf Course in Summit Township pulled a pistol Sunday on a golfer in his yard, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
The neighbor, a 55-year-old man, was cited for terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after allegedly threatening the victim, a 42-year-old Butler man, with the pistol, according to police.
The report said the golfer had hit a golf ball into the neighbor’s yard at about 2 p.m. Sunday, and he was trying retrieve it when the neighbor confronted him and they began arguing.
Along with the citation, the report said the neighbor was told by the police to not have or attempt any contact the alleged victim.
