Woman's car overturns

CRANBERRY TWP — Wet road conditions were the cause of an accident Sunday on Interstate 79.

According to a report from the Butler barracks of the state police, the accident occurred at 2:09 p.m. Sunday in Cranberry Township.

The report indicates the driver, Ariel L. Morris-Holtz, lost control on the wet road while traveling in the right-hand lane. The vehicle, a 2016 Fiat 500, rolled over onto its roof in the median.

Morris-Holtz, 25, of Canonsburg suffered minor injuries in the incident, and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, the complaint states.

She is charged with failing to drive at safe speeds.
