Washington's Trail symposium slated
The group Washington’s Trail 1753 has invited the public to attend a one-day symposium discussing Native American perspective of George Washington and his 1753 mission.
Historical educators and experts will be joined by Perry Ground, a member of the Onondaga Tribe who is also a traditional storyteller and cultural educator, to offer that perspective.
The one-day symposium, called “The Many Voices of the Trail,” will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cranberry Township. There is a fee associated with the event, and the registration deadline is Monday.
