A-C Valley schools set to open Tuesday
FOXBURG, Clarion County — The Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District planned to open Tuesday even though there are still water issues, according to the district.
Bottled water will be provided, but the district encouraged parents to also send students to school with bottled water, according to its website.
Officials say there is enough water pressure to operate the schools.
Classes were canceled Thursday and Friday after a water line leak left school buildings dry.
Superintendent David McDeavitt said the Foxburg Water and Sewer Authority notified him about a water leak Wednesday, but the schools did not have any problems with their water service until Thursday.
