The suspects, both white, posed as utility workers about 11:20 a.m. when they approached the 83-year-old victim who was outside her home in Prospect, according to investigators.
While one of the men distracted the victim, police said, his accomplice entered the home. The woman subsequently discovered the man in her bedroom, a police report said.
The men drove away in a white Kia sedan. They are both described as being in the mid-30s. One of the men had facial hair.
Police said the woman was not injured. The report did not indicate if any property was taken.
