Alameda Waterpark will close for the season on Sunday.

The county Parks and Recreation Department announced that the doors will be open from 12:15 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, weather permitting, before closing until next spring.

Democratic Congressional candidate Ron DiNicola will open a campaign headquarters Sunday at 306 N. Main St. in Butler

An open house with DiNicola and supporters will be held beginning at 2 p.m.

DiNicola, an Erie resident, is running for Congress in the 16th District, which includes all of Erie, Crawford, Mercer and Lawrence counties and part of Butler County.
