A new metal warehouse opens at 8 a.m. Monday on Thomson Park Drive in Cranberry Township.

Metal Supermarkets is a metal supplier, warehouse and distributor, according to its vice president Wesley Wilkinson.

Wilkinson said the idea of the business is to let metal buyers come in, walk around the full warehouse and get to touch whatever materials they may want to later purchase.

The store had a soft opening Friday but will open to the greater public Monday.

Metal Supermarkets is at 503 Thomson Park Drive.

WARRENDALE — U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-12) will attend a ceremonial ribbon-cutting Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the opening of Pitt Cycles, home to Indian Motorcycle of Pittsburgh & KTM of Pittsburgh, a new motorcycle dealer in Warrendale.

The company, owned by Mike Cartney and Bill Obaker, utilized a Banking on Business loan to launch the business, an upscale motorcycle dealership.

Rothfus, who is running for re-election in the new 17th District, is helping recognize small business development and jobs growth.
