A kitchen fire at 1344 Pittsburgh Road in Middlesex Township Monday evening was quickly knocked down by Middlesex Patrolman Randall Davison and then members of the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company.Davison was able to extinguish one part of the fire before firefighters arrived to douse the rest with water and foam. The call came in to emergency dispatchers at 6:46 p.m.Assisting Middlesex at the scene were volunteers from Richland Township and the Adams Area Fire District.
