Truck crashes into truck sales lot, hurting driver
EVANS CITY — One person suffered minor injuries on Friday at about 4 p.m. after a pickup truck collided with two trucks that were parked in the for-sale lot at Edward Colosimo Auto Sales and Service, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The injured person drove his truck into the two trucks, severely damaging his vehicle and causing damage to the two vehicles, which were in a roadside line-up of vehicles for sale at the auto dealer.
State police and the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department responded to the wreck.
State troopers on the scene said they could not yet confirm what if any charges would be filed.
The injured person was transferred from the scene in an ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital, according to Butler County emergency dispatchers.
The drivers’ truck remained partially in the southbound lane of Evans City Road for a time after the accident, requiring authorities to alternate north-and-south-bound traffic on the northbound lane while cleaning up the scene.
