[naviga:h3]No one injured in head-on crash[/naviga:h3]
No one was injured Friday morning when two vehicles collided on West Park Road, authorities said.
The head-on-type collision happened about 5:40 a.m. when one of the drivers momentarily lost control of his vehicle and struck the other while rounding a bend.
Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed. State police are investigating, but an accident report was not immediately available.
The road had recently been tarred and chipped, said Ryan Hanchosky, chief of the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company, and the pavement possibly was slick.
He said the township’s road department was notified and workers were to inspect the road.
