The Butler Township Planning Commission on Tuesday approved land development plans for a Baglier auto detailing shop and a Mattress Warehouse, but tabled action on Kentucky Fried Chicken’s relocation plans.

The commission approved Baglier Buick’s plan to develop a lot on Route 8 adjacent to the Comfort Inn for a detail shop, a township official said.

The township owned the lot before selling it to Baglier through the public bidding process several years ago.

Mattress Warehouse’s plan to develop a lot for a store that will be attached to Grand Rental Station on New Castle Road also was approved.

The commission tabled action on a land development plan from Kentucky Fried Chicken to relocate the restaurant on New Castle Road about a quarter mile east to a lot adjacent to Wendy’s.
