Harry and Julia Schmeider

Harry and Julia Schmeider of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family gathering in Great Wolf Lodge, Sandusky, Ohio. They will revisit Niagara Falls where they honeymooned.

Schmeider married the former Julia Groger on June 29, 1968, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Michelle Spahr of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Tracey Belak of Saxonburg.

They also have four grandchildren.Schmeider retired from AK Steel.Mrs. Schmeider retired from Butler Memorial Hospital.The Schmeiders are members of Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, Butler.
