Janet and Jim Cooper

Jim and Janet Cooper of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a small family celebration.

Cooper married the former Janet Craig on June 22, 1968 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Stephen (Mimi) Cooper of Valencia and Justin (Jessica) Cooper of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Cooper retired from AK Steel.He is a member of the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame for football and track.He enjoys woodworking.Mrs. Cooper retired from the Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center.She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
