PLAIN GROVE TWP, Lawrence County — There will be a rabies clinic from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Plain Grove Township Building, 1029 Plain Grove Road.

There is a $10 charge for cats and dogs. No appointment is needed

Proceeds to benefit Kosey Fennick, an 8-year-old boy with a rare brain tumor.

SAXONBURG — Junk to Joy, a two-day rummage sale to support church youth mission trips, will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Centennial Hall, 110 State St., at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

[naviga:h3]Library readies summer program[/naviga:h3]

ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Public Library’s summer program is running now through Aug. 9th.

The library is offering a variety of weekly activities for all ages. Most of these programs are free and open to the public.

Activities include a Monday Engineering Club, gingerbread house decorating, programs by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Jennings Environmental Education Center, and a musical trivia competition.
