Slippery Rock University trustee Jeffrey Smith said he did not sign a letter sent in September 2017 to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education highlighting frustrations about the conduct of board trustee Robert Taylor and seeking Taylor’s removal from the SRU presidential search committee. A story published Friday stated the letter included Smith’s signature.
