CENTER TWP — A township woman already accused of selling heroin finds herself in more trouble, after she was busted with drugs in her bra, authorities said.

Kelly M. Cross, 25, of Center Township was arraigned Tuesday on her latest charges stemming from a routine home compliance check last month by Butler County probation officers.

While the officers were at her Jan Drive home April 27, according to court documents, Cross admitted that she had drugs hidden in her bra. She turned over a cellophane wrapper.

In the wrapper, said county Detective Tim Fennell in the criminal complaint, were three stamp bags and seven empty bags of suspected heroin and a plastic baggie corner with suspected crack cocaine.

She was placed that day in Butler County Prison on a probation violation.

District Judge Lewis Stoughton on Tuesday arraigned Cross on misdemeanor charges of possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He set bail at $10,000 and her preliminary hearing for Tuesday.

She already is facing preliminary hearings at Stoughton's office in Chicora on charges in two felony drug cases that state police vice officers filed last year.

Cross in those cases is accused of selling heroin to a police informant on two occasions in 2016 in Center Township, court documents said.

She is charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, and two misdemeanor counts each of possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Hearings in those cases are set for June 26.

Michael Zunder, Cross' attorney in the previous drug cases, did not return a telephone call Thursday. It was unclear if he is representing her in the latest case.
