CHICORA — Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, is having a spring rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Proceeds will go to the repair of the handicap ramp.

PETROLIA — There will be a craft and vendors show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, 200 Argyle St.

There will be an auction, door prizes and the kitchen will be open.

ZELIENOPLE — The “Zelienople Library Presents” Speaker Series kicks off at 7 p.m. May 10 at the library, 227 S. High St., with a visit with writer Heather Terrell.

Terrell is the author of “The Other Einstein,” written under the name Marie Benedict, and also the recently released “Carnegie’s Maid.”

Tickets are available on Eventbrite.com and at the library.

The speaker’s series is a fundraiser for the library.
