[naviga:h3]East-West Game slated for Sunday[/naviga:h3]

ALTOONA — The 17th annual Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star Game will be played at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mansion Park Stadium.

Pine-Richland coach Eric Kasperowicz is head coach of the West squad, which includes Slippery Rock University recruits Tanner Volpatti (running back) and Gavin Vargesko (defensive end), both of Bethel Park.

Tickets are $8 and will be sold at the gate.

GROVE CITY — Grove City College freshman outfielder Hannah Dietz has been named ECAC Division III South Softball Rookie of the Week.

Dietz, a Hampton graduate, hit .412 (7 for 17) with two doubles, three runs and four RBI for the week.
