CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP — Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 300, with James Lucot, will host four history roundtable sessions.

6:30 p.m., April 9: With Classrooms Without Borders, Serena Dykman, granddaughter of Holocaust survivor Maryla Michalowski-Dyamant, will discuss and preview her film “NANA.” Michalowski-Dyamant was the forced translator to the “Angel of Death,” Dr. Mengele.

6:30 p.m. April 10: Sgt. Ron Cepek, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a recipient of three Bronze Stars, will discuss his three combat tours as a door gunner and ground scout.

6:30 p.m. April 30: Sgt. Bob Harbula, a Marine veteran of the Korean War, will discuss experiences with “Task Force Drysdale.” He was featured in two PBS documentaries.

6:30 p.m. May 10: Sgt. Ed Bailey, a Marine veteran, will discuss his Gulf War combat tour.

GROVE CITY — The Grove City Historical Society, 111 College Ave., will present a free spring speaker series on four Mondays.

7 p.m. April 16: Dick Beech will highlight the George J. Howe Co., a coffee, candy and nuts business started in 1927, and describe how it grew to serving an estimated 25 million people a year.

7 p.m. April 23: Rob Ridgeway will share the history of Wendell August and its plans for the future.

7 p.m. April 30: The Rev. Robert Guy Jr. will talk about the history of the Grove Manor Corporation and its buildings on North Broad Street.

7 p.m. May 21: Cathy Coulter will show how to research a family tree more easily while avoiding common mistakes.
