The 35th Miss Butler County Scholarship Pageant will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Butler Senior High School Auditorium, 120 Campus Lane.

The pageant will be hosted by 2017 Miss Butler County, Julia Wilkins, and Miss Pennsylvania 2016-2017, Samantha Lambert.

Four young women will have the opportunity to represent Butler County and the Moraine State region as the winners of Miss Butler County, Miss Butler County's Outstanding Teen, Miss Moraine State, and Miss Moraine State's Outstanding Teen. Titles will be awarded at the culmination of the evening's event.

The titleholders will advance to the Miss Pennsylvania and Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageants in June at Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh.

Local directors for the Miss Butler County Scholarship Pageant include Judith Hughes, Jessica Kennedy and Lucy Mudrick. Tickets will be available at the door and proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund for the winners.

2018 Miss Butler County & Miss Moraine State Outstanding Teen

Makenzie Blystone, 15, is a Knoch High School student whose talent is a twirl/dance to “Be My Guest.” Her platform is the Epilepsy Foundation.

Reagan Curry, 17, is a Seneca Valley Senior High School student who will sing “No One Else.” Her platform is music education in public schools.

Grace DeFelippis, 17, is a General McLance High School student. She will perform a Bollywood dance to “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny.” Her platform is flipping the tides of suicide.

Sienna Randolph, 16, is a Highlands High School student. She will do a lyrical dance to “Try/Who You Are.” Her platform is believe in yourself.

Cordray Negley, 15, attends Butler Senior High School. Her talent is a baton routine set to “California Dreamin'.” Her platform is the Autism Speaks Foundation.

Riley Evans, 15, is a Bethel Park High School student who will perform a jazz dance to “Feeling Good.” Her platform is brain cancer awareness.

Amanda Bishop, 16, is a Butler Senior High School student. She will sing “Lost in the Brass.” Her platform is senior care.

Diana Schulties, 16, attends Seneca Valley Intermediate High School. She will give a piano recital of “A River Flows in You.” Her platform is adoption of shelter pets.

2018 Miss Butler County & Miss Moraine State

Lexi Bryant, 18, an Indiana University of Pennsylvania student, will perform a lyrical dance to “What the World Needs Now.” Her platform is Americans for the Arts Foundation.

Anesha Robinson, 24, is a student of the University of the Arts. She will sing “I Have Nothing.” Her platform is LGBTQ youth advocacy.

Sydney Miller, 20, a student at Lock Haven University, will sing “Riptide.” Her platform is mentors make a difference.

Paige Lumley, 23, is a University of Pittsburgh student who will play “Valse Dramatico” on the piano. Her platform is creating a paradigm shift in the understanding of simple sustainability.

Tiffany Seitz, 19, a student at Grove City College, will perform a contemporary dance to “Instead.” Her platform is transforming impoverished Mexican families.

Silver Dorsa, 18, attends Grove City College. She will sing “Life Through Rose-Colored Glasses.” Her platform is understanding the importance of suicide awareness and mental health.

Riley Marx, 18, is a student at Temple University. She will do a lyrical dance to “Anything's Possible.” Her platform is giving back to the community.
