Esther Galbraith Kroh

Esther Galbraith Kroh, a resident of Concordia at Cabot Personal Care, celebrated her 100th birthday at Concordia with family and friends.

She was born March 8, 1918, in Pittsburgh. She married Dr. Dean Kroh Sept. 2, 1949, at her home in Bellevue.

She has four children, David Kroh of Wexford, June Kershner of New Mexico, Dean Keith of Pittsburgh and the late Daniel Kroh.

She also has three granddaughters.

Mrs. Kroh was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance and she and her husband were missionaries in the Belgian Congo and Cambodia before moving to Concordia.

Her favorite things include reading, sewing, walking, roller skating, sports and traveling. She especially enjoyed family vacations at the ocean.
