They are, front row, from left, Kaitlyn Nicholas (Grandma), Lauren Winters (Pugsley), Isabella Parks (Morticia), William McGrath (Gomez), Halle Surgil (Wednesday) and Liam Dress (Lucas); and second row from left, Alex Kladny (Uncle Fester) David Kinniburgh (Lurch), Zach Zecca (Mal) and Drew Kolek (Alice).

SARVER — Freeport Area Senior High School will present the musical “The Addams Family” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Freeport Area Middle School Auditorium, 629 S. Pike Road.

Tickets are $9 and $5 for adults aged 65 and older, and will be sold from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the middle school lobby.

It is produced and directed by Thomas D. Koharchik.

Chaz Shipman is the pit orchestra director, Anne Ferguson, the vocal director and Elizabeth Surgil, the choreographer.

Sara Sypulski is the assistant choreographer, and Halle Surgil is the student choreographer.

Heather Koharchik is the costume designer, Holly Plocki, the makeup artist and Jenn Koedel, the box office manager.

Diane Haugh is the secretary, Caitlyn Crissman, the properties manager and Megan Foust, the assistant makeup artist.

Jessica Kibler, Caitlyn Lincoln and Makayla Nicholas are student assistants.

In “The Addams Family,” the classic characters of the famous Addams Family come together in a new and innovative way as Wednesday falls in love with a typical, mainstream conservative boy named Lucas.

When Gomez learns of Wednesday's plans to marry Lucas, he tries desperately to toe the line between honest husband, and loving father.

His deceptions lead to all kinds of trouble. Ancestors awake from the dead, Uncle Fester falls in love … with the moon, and Morticia learns of her own past secrets. It is a dark and gloomy, yet witty and energetic, exploration into a side of the family that often gets overlooked.
