CHERRY TWP — Ten students at Moniteau High School recently received financial awards from The Challenge Program for their achievements during the last school year.

The recipients were Collette Grossman for academic excellence, Korynne Young for community service, Robert Mathews for STEM, Steven Fawcett for academic improvement, Collin Abbott for attendance, Andie Arblaster for academic excellence, Madison Clark for community service, Faith McElravy for STEM, Taylor Sharkey for attendance and Travis Claypoole for academic improvement.

The Challenge Program partners with businesses to motivate high school students to excel and introduce them to career opportunities in their own communities.

XTO Energy sponsored the awards and was the business partner for Moniteau High School in 2016-17.
