Edward John Nash
It is with great sadness that the family of Edward John Nash announces his passing after a brief illness Nov. 23 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Sarver.
He was born on May 18, 1951, in Pittsburgh, to Edward and Helen (McGrann) Nash and was a current resident of Butler.
His last place of employment was Woodland Hills School District as a custodian, where he made many friends and was loved by the students who knew him.
Ed was a “sun worshipper” and loved to be outdoors. He was well known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was a friend to all who met him and would help anyone he could. He was a very funny and friendly guy who always spoke what was on his mind. He was a dog's best friend.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts, and we will always appreciate the man you were and the lessons we've learned from you.
A special thanks to Cassie and the staff of Concordia.
He is survived by one sister; five children, Eddie (Paulette) Nash, Lori Nash (Mike Lichina), Connie (Dutch) Gustafson, Bobbie Joe (Joel) Nash-Tebay and Lindsey (Dave) Nash-Escarcega; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
