Margaret and Edward Young

Margaret and Edward Young of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Young married the former Margaret Hipple Nov. 27, 1952, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.

They have eight children, Debra Podbros of Cranston R.I., Diane McDonald of Chicora, Duane Young of Russellville, Ark., and David Young, Daryl Young, Doris Young-Peters, Denis Young and Deron Young, all of Butler.

They also have 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Young retired from Armco as a craneman.

He is a lifetime member of Chicora Moose, East Butler Fireman's Club and the American Legion.

Mrs. Young retired from the Visiting Nurses Association as a registered nurse.

The Youngs are members of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
