Woessner 95th birthday
Sarah M. Woessner of Lowrie Place in Butler, will celebrate her 95th birthday with her family at Lowrie Place.
The former Sarah Marie Albert was born Nov. 9, 1922, in Franklin Township. She married the late Clifford L. Woessner Sept. 11, 1946, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prospect.
She has five children, Clifford J. Woessner of Prospect, Warren Woessner of Virginia Beach, Va., Patricia Grossman of New London, Wis., Karen Schnelle of Portersville and the late Frederick Woessner.
She also has 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Woessner retired after 25 years of service as a school teacher.
She is a lifetime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is a member of the Women’s Club of Prospect and the Prospect Area Preservation Society. She also is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
